MATRIX
The ORC turbine engine uses medium to high temperature hot oil to preheat and evaporate appropriate organic working medium in the evaporator (4>5). The organic medium steam drives the turbine (5>6), which is coupled directly to the generator, thus producing clean and reliable electricity. Organic steam flows through the heat accumulator (6>7) to heat the organic fluid (2>3), then condenses in the condenser, and finally is cooled by the cooling loop (7>8>1). The organic working fluid is pumped (1>2) to the heat accumulator and evaporator to complete the closed loop.
